Bark NY Mirrors

Acoma. Beveled brass, patinated frame. ¾” thick low-iron beveled mirror.

Baldus. A frame profile we designed for The Metropolitan Museum of Art for works by the 19th c. French photographer Baldus. Patinated brass sheets on the front with convex silvered lenses. White gold leaf mirrors in the interior. Can stand or be wall mounted.

Dakhla. Flat copper frame, dark patina. White gold leaf mirror is reverse beveled.

Damascus. Flat brass frame, patinated. Round hand cast and hand silvered mirror.

Humboldt. Black walnut frame, butt joined, water stain finish. Hand cast and hand silvered mirror.

Mer de Glace. Brass patinated frame. Mirror is low-iron glass, ¾” thick, with wide bevel, white gold leaf.

Doric Silver. Mirror is hand cast and hand silvered. Turned frame is silver leafed and patinated.

Silver Dutch. 17th century Dutch profile. ½” beveled glass mirror, hand silvered.
Jared Bark and Miguel Oks designed these mirrors in the early 90’s for Bark NY, a project of Bark Frameworks. For many of them we cast the glass and silvered it ourselves.
