    We want to make your experience framing with us as convenient as possible. Please review the following topics and services to help us provide you with the best service.

    Bark Frameworks has a fully-insured, air conditioned truck that makes daily trips into Manhattan. We can make pick-ups and deliveries as part of your order. Please remember to let us know the size of the pieces we are picking up beforehand.

    If we are picking up artwork for your appointment, we ask that your artwork be safely wrapped in advance for our art handling staff. We can provide tips on wrapping if you aren’t sure of how to wrap the object you would like to frame.

    If you have special requirements and considerations for your framing project, you may want to bring pictures, swatches, or measurements with you to the meeting.

    We are pleased to be able to offer art installation and storage to our framing clients. Ready to receive your artwork? After we deliver to your business or residence, our experienced art installers will collaborate with you to mount your newly-framed art. Our trained technicians will take the utmost care when handling your art, making this process as low-risk as can be. Not ready to have your artwork delivered? Simply leave it with us — your art will be stored in the same facility where we frame, minimizing the risk brought on by art transport. Email for details and rates.

    We carry fine art insurance with Huntington T. Block. Our premises are fire and burglar alarmed with high quality systems; and our space is climate-controlled. We are uncompromising in our art preservation practices, and our registration department keeps clear, permanent records that can be accessed at any time.

    Our showroom is very convenient to Midtown Manhattan. We are located just 5 minutes from 58th street and 2nd Avenue using the Queensboro Bridge.

    From the Midtown Tunnel
    driving time: approx. 10 minutes
    • Exiting the Tunnel, use the far right tollbooths
    • Take Exit 14 right after the tollbooth,
    • then merge onto 11th Street and continue 11 blocks, to 43rd Ave.
    • Turn right on 43rd Avenue and drive one block. 
    • Turn left onto 12th Street – our shop is two buildings in, on the right.
    From the Queensboro Bridge, 59th Street Bridge (UPPER LEVEL)
    driving time from 58th street and 2nd Avenue: approx. 5-7 minutes
    • Take the Upper Level via the 58th Street Manhattan entrance
    • Slight right towards 21st Street on the bridge
    • Take the 21st Street Exit, turn left on 21st Street; prepare to turn right in half a block.
    • Turn right onto 43rd Avenue — drive two blocks.
    • Turn right onto 12th Street – our shop is the second building in, on the right side.

    There are many subway convenient our showroom. The Court Square subway entrance for the F,M,G,and 7 trains is about a 7 minute walk away.

    Take the For M trains to Court Square/ 23rd Street
    walking time: 6-7 minutes
    • Ride in the last car from Manhattan to be near the exit
    • Exit the station at 44th Drive and 21st Street
    • Walk north on 21st Street, for 3 blocks, to 43rd Ave.
    • Turn left at 43rd Ave, and walk two blocks.
    • Turn right on 12th Street. We’re the second building in, on the right!
    Take the G train to Court Square
    walking time: 10 minutes
    • Exit the station at Court Square and 44th Drive (Optimum Tower)
    • Walk west on 44th Drive, turn right on 23rd Street/
    • Walk north two blocks to 43rd Ave.
    • Turn left on 43rd Avenue, and walk west four blocks, to 12th Street.
    • Turn right onto 12th Street.  We’re the second building in, on the right.
    Take the 7 train to Court Square
    walking time: 12 minutes
    • Ride in the last car from Manhattan to be near the exit.
    • Walk north on 23rd Street toward 43rd Avenue.
    • Turn left on 43rd Avenue, and walk west four blocks, to 12th Street.
