Jean Pagliuso’s frames are deceptively simple. The handmade paper sheets float in the space of the frame. The frame profile itself we milled from an aluminum Tee extrusion to dimensions we chose for these works. The wing of the Tee hovers in front of the wall. Its mottled patina resonates with the rich modulations and texture of the photographs.
