Position Description
Bark Frameworks, an employee-owned custom framing and art services company that has led the industry since 1969, seeks a full-time art handler/truck driver/helper to assist in the transport of artwork to private clients, galleries, and institutions within New York City.
Please note: This position is entry level and pays by the hour. This position is full time and reports Monday – Friday to our shop in Long Island City. This is not a remote position.
Required Skills and Experience
- Valid N.Y. State driver’s license; experience driving a cube truck a plus
- Knowledge of NYC driving routes/roads a plus
- Experience in art handling a plus
- Must be able to lift 50 – 70 lbs
- Team player and excellent communicator; ability to get along with all personalities
- Professional appearance and enthusiastic/positive attitude (interaction with clients)
- Desire to learn and help out as needed in other departments
- Desire for long-term employment with a great team
- Bilingual (Spanish) a plus, but not required.
