Administration

Jack Sullivan

Jack arrives at Bark Frameworks with nearly a decade of experience of running and advising consumer companies. Most recently, Jack served as Chief Operating Officer for birddogs – a men’s apparel company. He is excited to work at the intersection of fine art, design, and artisanal craftsmanship; and to lead an employee-owned company. He looks forward to deepening Bark’s partnerships with the world’s preeminent art collectors, advisors, museums, galleries, and interior designers. Jack holds an AB in Economics and an AB in Government from Dartmouth College.

Brenda Cominale

Brenda, our Shop Manager, joined Bark Frameworks in 2005, with thirty years of framing experience. She possesses expert level skills in sanding, matting, glazing, fitting, and hand- and spray-finishing frames. In addition, Brenda has past work experience in both sales and management.

Jennifer Clark

Jennifer brings a more than 15 years of experience working in arts and luxury to her position at Bark. As the Director of Human Resources, Jennifer works with the CEO and staff to make Bark an exceptional workplace for employee owners. She is also responsible for Marketing, including social media, photography, and website content. Jennifer holds a BA in Art History from Vassar College. In her free time, she enjoys long walks in nature, dance, yoga, and travel.

Hajarah Abdus-Sabur, Bark’s Registrar, has 15 years of logistics, administration, and customer service experience in the New York art world. In her past positions at organizations like Artnet, Dietl International, Crozier, and Cadogan Tate, she managed complex art shipments. Hajarah holds a Masters in Arts Administration from New York University. In her free time she enjoys reading, cooking, collecting found art, and cultivating Bonsai.

Designers

Shreya Patel is an interdisciplinary artist and designer, with a strong background in frame design. She has designed for a number of distinguished individuals, galleries, and interior firms in New York — both in contemporary and period-based aesthetics. Shreya graduated from the University of Michigan with a BFA and a minor in Art History. In her free time, she enjoys reading, spending time outdoors, and trying new foods.

Dareece Walker

Dareece Walker brings more than a decade of framing experience — and even more time handling and working with fine art — to his work at Bark. A practicing artist himself, who focuses on painting, drawing, and sculpture, Dareece holds a MFA from the School of Visual Arts in New York.

Ethan Ellis, has worked in various departments at Bark for the better part of a decade, from sanding and joining to matting and installations. He now joins the design department excited to combine previous knowledge and perspectives to his new role and venture forth into the art of aesthetics, a long time passion.  In his free time, he enjoys gardening, cooking, and live entertainment from music, comedy, Broadway, and everything in between. Ethan holds a BS in Cinema & Television from Drexel University.
